3. Scheduling and Repair Process

MS Appliance Repair Services follows a simple repair process designed to make appliance service clear, convenient, and efficient.

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

Customers may schedule an appointment by phone, online request, email, or any other booking method offered by MS Appliance Repair Services.

When scheduling, customers should provide accurate information, including:

  • Full name
  • Service address
  • Phone number
  • Email address, if available
  • Appliance type
  • Brand and model, if known
  • Description of the issue
  • Preferred appointment time

Appointment times depend on technician availability, route planning, parts availability, and weather or traffic conditions.

Step 2: On-Site Diagnosis

A licensed technician visits the customer’s home or business to inspect the appliance, identify the issue, and explain the recommended repair options.

The technician may perform diagnostic testing, visual inspection, mechanical checks, electrical checks, or other reasonable troubleshooting steps required to understand the issue.

Step 3: Repair, Maintenance, or Part Replacement

In many cases, MS Appliance Repair Services can complete repairs the same day or next day. Our service vans carry a wide range of tools and more than 300 commonly used replacement parts, allowing technicians to handle many appliance issues during the first visit.

However, some repairs may require special parts, manufacturer-specific components, additional labor, or a follow-up appointment. In such cases, we will explain the next steps before continuing.

4. Pricing and Payment

MS Appliance Repair Services uses flat-rate, transparent pricing with no hidden fees.

Before repair work begins, the technician will provide an upfront quote based on the appliance type, issue, required labor, part cost, repair complexity, and service requirements.

Pricing may include:

  • Diagnostic fee
  • Labor charges
  • Replacement part costs
  • Installation charges, if applicable
  • Additional service charges for complex repairs
  • Special order part charges, if required

Repair costs vary depending on the appliance, brand, model, fault, part availability, and time required to complete the service. Customers will receive pricing information before approving the repair.

Diagnostic Fees

A diagnostic fee may apply when a technician visits the property to inspect or troubleshoot an appliance. This fee covers the technician’s time, travel, inspection, testing, and professional assessment.

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable, even if the customer chooses not to proceed with the recommended repair.

Payment Due Date

Payment is due upon completion of the diagnostic visit, repair, installation, maintenance, tune-up, or other approved service unless MS Appliance Repair Services agrees otherwise in writing.

Accepted Payment Methods

MS Appliance Repair Services may accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Bank transfer
  • Other approved payment methods

Returned payments, failed transactions, chargebacks, or unpaid invoices may result in additional fees, collection action, refusal of future service, or other lawful remedies.

5. Deposits, Special Parts, and Restocking Fees

Some repairs require special order parts, manufacturer-specific components, or parts that are not available in the technician’s service vehicle.

If special parts must be ordered, MS Appliance Repair Services may require a deposit before ordering the part. The deposit may cover part cost, shipping, handling, supplier fees, and related ordering expenses.

Once a special part has been ordered, the customer may not cancel without potential charges.

If the customer cancels after MS Appliance Repair Services orders a part, the customer may be responsible for:

  • The diagnostic fee
  • Shipping charges
  • Supplier fees
  • Restocking fees
  • Non-returnable part costs
  • Any labor or administrative costs already incurred

Restocking fees may apply when a supplier allows a part return but charges MS Appliance Repair Services for processing the return. Some special order parts may be non-refundable and non-returnable.

Diagnostic fees remain non-refundable in all cases.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must help provide a safe and efficient service environment. By booking service, the customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Provide the correct service address
  • Describe the appliance issue honestly and clearly
  • Ensure an adult aged 18 or older remains present during the appointment
  • Provide safe access to the appliance
  • Clear the area around the appliance before the technician arrives
  • Secure pets before and during the visit
  • Inform the technician about any known hazards
  • Ensure the appliance has proper access to power, water, gas, drainage, or ventilation when relevant
  • Avoid interfering with the technician’s work
  • Review and approve the quote before work begins

If the technician cannot safely access the appliance, if no adult is present, if pets remain unsecured, or if the property presents unsafe working conditions, MS Appliance Repair Services may reschedule or cancel the appointment.

Delays caused by customer inaction, incorrect information, unsafe conditions, lack of access, or missed appointments may result in additional charges.

7. Missed Appointments, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Customers should notify MS Appliance Repair Services as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, trip fee, or diagnostic fee if:

  • The customer cancels after the technician has already been dispatched
  • The customer is not present at the scheduled service address
  • The technician cannot access the appliance
  • The appointment fails due to incorrect information provided by the customer
  • The customer refuses service after the technician arrives without a valid reason

MS Appliance Repair Services may also reschedule appointments due to weather, traffic, technician availability, emergency repairs, part availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Warranty and Quality Assurance

MS Appliance Repair Services aims to deliver professional, reliable, and long-lasting appliance repairs. Our technicians use genuine, manufacturer-approved, or high-quality replacement parts whenever available and appropriate.

Technicians also follow brand-specific repair protocols where applicable to help preserve manufacturer standards and appliance warranties.

Warranty coverage may vary depending on:

  • Appliance type
  • Brand and model
  • Part used
  • Nature of the repair
  • Manufacturer policy
  • Customer usage after repair
  • Whether the appliance has pre-existing issues
  • Whether another person or company later modifies the repair

Please refer to our separate Warranty Policy for full details about warranty coverage, exclusions, repair guarantees, claim requirements, and customer responsibilities.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation by others, power surges, water damage, pest damage, blocked vents, improper maintenance, customer tampering, unauthorized repairs, or unrelated appliance failures.

9. Parts and Manufacturer Availability

MS Appliance Repair Services makes reasonable efforts to source reliable parts for appliance repairs. However, part availability depends on manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, shipping providers, discontinued models, and market conditions.

We do not guarantee that every part will be immediately available. Some parts may require additional ordering time, and some discontinued appliance models may no longer have replacement parts available.

If a part becomes unavailable after diagnosis, we will inform the customer and discuss possible options.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MS Appliance Repair Services’ total liability for any claim related to a service, repair, diagnosis, installation, maintenance visit, or part replacement will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

MS Appliance Repair Services is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing appliance issues
  • Hidden defects
  • Previous improper repairs
  • Manufacturer defects
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Electrical, plumbing, gas, ventilation, or structural issues outside the appliance
  • Damage caused by customer tampering
  • Damage caused by third-party repairs
  • Consequential, indirect, incidental, or special damages
  • Loss of food, laundry, business income, time, data, use, or convenience
  • Property damage caused by appliance failure before, during, or after service when the failure results from an unrelated or pre-existing condition

Customers remain responsible for maintaining their appliances, following manufacturer instructions, and addressing known safety issues promptly.

11. No Guarantee of Repairability

MS Appliance Repair Services will make a professional effort to diagnose and repair the appliance. However, not every appliance can be repaired safely, economically, or successfully.

An appliance may be considered not worth repairing if:

  • The repair cost exceeds the appliance value
  • Key parts are discontinued
  • The appliance has multiple failures
  • The unit has severe wear
  • The repair presents safety concerns
  • The appliance has been previously damaged or improperly serviced

If the technician determines that repair is not advisable, the diagnostic fee still applies.

12. Safety and Right to Refuse Service

MS Appliance Repair Services reserves the right to refuse, pause, or cancel service if a technician identifies unsafe conditions.

Unsafe conditions may include:

  • Exposed wiring
  • Gas leaks
  • Water leaks
  • Mold or contamination
  • Pest infestation
  • Aggressive pets
  • Threatening behavior
  • Unsafe appliance placement
  • Blocked access
  • Unstable flooring
  • Unsanitary working conditions
  • Any environment that may endanger the technician, customer, property, or appliance

We may also refuse service if a customer behaves abusively, refuses to follow safety instructions, refuses to approve pricing, or attempts to pressure the technician into unsafe work.
